About Melinda
As a real estate agent at Smith and Associates, Melinda gets to show people the area that she has proudly called home for 40 years. She has always loved homes, whether admiring the architectural elements that her grandparents used when building their home or the simple improvements she made to her first house; and realizing how easy it was to transform it into something special. Whether she is listing your home or representing you on a purchase, her service to you is her #1 priority. Melinda has a passion for helping others and has decades of involvement in the community. She has been a string volunteer for a number of organizations in St. Pete Beach and the greater St. Petersburg area. She has taken on significant roles in Fundraising, Membership Development, and Strategic Planning for Junior League, Shorecrest Preparatory School, Admiral Farragut Academy, Pass-A-Grille Beach Community Church, Vina Del Mar Island Association, and the Pass A Grille Woman’s Club. She served as Chairman of the Historic Preservation Board for 5+ years, enjoyed 2 Terms as Vice Mayor and 5 Terms as City Commissioner. Melinda currently serves on the St Pete Beach Planning and Zoning Board utilizing her extensive knowledge on matters relating to the Comprehensive Plan, Zoning Matters, Growth Management and Land Development Regulations. Melinda is consistently among the top 25 agents in Pinellas County and #1 in St. Pete Beach.
