As a proud resident of the St. Pete Beach area for over 40 years, Melinda Pletcher brings unmatched local knowledge and deep community ties to her role as a real estate agent with Smith & Associates. Her love for homes began early, first inspired by the architectural details of her grandparents’ house and later realized through the transformation of her very first home. That passion continues to drive her today, whether she’s helping clients sell their homes or guiding them through the excitement of a new purchase. Beyond real estate, Melinda has a longstanding commitment to her community. She has held leadership roles in numerous local organizations, including the Junior League, Shorecrest Preparatory School, Admiral Farragut Academy, Pass-A-Grille Beach Community Church, the Vina Del Mar Island Association, and the Pass-A-Grille Woman’s Club. Her contributions have ranged from fundraising and membership development to strategic planning. She also served six years as Chairman of the Historic Preservation Board and held public office as Vice Mayor for two terms, with a total of five terms as a St. Pete Beach City Commissioner.
